A Vision — Fetching with a Broken Bucket
The Lord showed a vision: someone fetching water with broken bottles and broken buckets. The person was walking — but before reaching the destination with the water, it was already empty. Every trip, the same result. Laboring — but arriving with nothing to show.
There is a spirit of wasted effort that makes a person labor without proof, without results. Everything that makes a life labor without show — it is time for it to leave.
The woman at the well had a water pot. Every time she filled it, before she was done with it the water was exhausted and she had to return to the well again. But Jesus said, I am putting a well on your inside — something springing from within. John 4:14
Three Visions — A Season of Breakthrough
Three visions were shown before this service. Each one carried a burden — because in each, God was saying He is ready to act. Everything He shows in vision is because He is ready to do something about it.
Peter said, We toiled all night and caught nothing. Everything that makes a person labor with nothing to show is ending. The breaking of that cycle is the assignment of this season.
Isaiah 65 — Building and Inhabiting
Isaiah 65:21-22
They shall build houses and live in them. They shall plant vineyards and eat of the fruit of them. My people will live in the houses they build. The days of eating from hand to mouth are over. The days of borrowing are over. They shall plant and they shall eat.
Verse 22 says — unlike the past, invaders will not take their houses. In the King James version: they shall not build for another man to inhabit. It is time to build your own. Your own business. Your own life. Your own inheritance.
Jacob said to Laban, I have served you fourteen years. It is time for me to build my own house. There comes a moment when the season of serving another man's vision gives way to the establishment of what God assigned.
Fruit That Remains
Jesus said in John 15:16 — I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain. The fruit of this season is not temporary. What is built in this moment will not be taken. What is planted will be eaten. The cycle of wasted effort ends.
Your days of toiling without fruit are over. The well is being placed on your inside. Spring up, O well. In the name of Jesus — spring up.
