Command your money to be. Command that door to be open. Pray Lord tonight, something must happen. I don't know what You have told Your servant in the secret place but You have prepared him for me. Tonight is my night. I may not be able to touch him physically but put Your word in his mouth for me. Send me Your word. Send me air from Zion. Will You come through for me? Oh God, come through. Let Your grace be upon me. Thou shall arise and have mercy on Zion. It's time to shift me. It's time to lift me. It's time for deliverance. It's time to accept me.
The Four Elements of Transformation
God's method of making men is His word — not just His word revealed, but His word taught and His word understood. Having access to the word does not automatically mean transformation. The word of God is like the ingredients of a meal in a kitchen. You can have your rice, your tomato, your pepper — but that is not a healthy meal. It is the potential to cook one, but it has to be served with skill and with grace.
On one hand, the chef is turning the meals and adding the ingredients. But behind the scene, there is fire burning. Once he lights the fire, the fire keeps doing the work. Once he is done with the combination, he closes the pot and lets the fire finish the job. That is how transformation works.
There is the fire of the Holy Ghost quickening your spirit, working on your inside. There is the grace bringing your heart to a place of malleability and receptivity. And then the word of God comes penetrating your heart, driving away ignorance, clearing confusion, bringing illumination, bringing enlightenment and conviction.
The journey to transformation is an equation that captures four elements:
- Enlightenment — Access to the truth. The light resting upon your mind.
- Understanding — Moving into a comprehension of the working dynamics of the truth. The profit point of truth is not just when light comes — it is when your understanding becomes fruitful.
- Conviction — Where truth transforms from being an information to a belief system. Truth does not profit you truly if it remains an information. It may start as one, but it must graduate until it becomes a belief system.
- Conformity — You apply yourself to that truth. This is epignosis — accurate knowledge — where you become one not just with the rightness of what you have believed, but it has become part of your life.
The price for dominion is transformation. That is not a cheap word. It means you must have access to the truth and be enlightened by it. You must press for understanding of the working dynamics of that truth. Then conviction — it must become a stronghold in your mind, beyond a mere information.
Failure enslaves you when it becomes a belief system. Victory empowers you to walk in dominion when it becomes a belief system.
What you are receiving is beyond mere information. The Holy Ghost is empowering what you are hearing so that it translates from a mere intelligent, educational or spiritual information into a belief system. Then grace is imparted so that you walk in conformity with that truth, applying the relevant principles connected to it — and your life inevitably becomes a sign and a wonder.
There is a group of believers the Bible speaks about — ever learning but never coming into the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:7. They are learning, and what they are learning is correct, but they are not coming into the experience of it.
Church and State Part 2: Restoring the King-Priest Dominion Strategy
Two key scriptures anchor this discussion:
Revelation 5:10 — He has made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.
1 Peter 2:9 — But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of Him that called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.
A Quick Recap of Part One
The church was defined in three ways:
- A spiritual strategy — From Jeremiah 51: "Thou art my battle axe, my weapon of war." The church is the only strategy capable of birthing and promoting the program of God on earth.
- A corporate body of believers — Men and women who are in Christ. No single believer can be called the church, but when we converge together in His name, we are the church — born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, in Christ.
- An institution — Paul, writing to Timothy in 1 Timothy 3:15, calls the church the pillar and the ground of truth. The church is the institution that has the highest presentation of godliness, moral excellence, and the capacity to produce godlike citizens within society. No other institution — judicial, correctional, educational, or family — matches the efficiency of the church for transformation and reformation, because the Holy Ghost is domiciled within the church.
Two major reasons were identified for the declining relevance of the church in society:
- A decline in the moral excellence of priesthood — The men and women of God mandated with the responsibility of serving Christ and protecting the sanctity of the Christian faith sometimes find themselves in positions where they are not the best presentation of Christ. This has affected the receptivity of the church as a faith practice.
- The poor quality of sermons and teachings from the pulpit — As enticing and emotionally stimulating as many sermons can be, they do not sustain the power to stand the test of time when applied in real-life situations. After jumping and shouting, many believers who have consumed what is sold from the pulpit are not able to produce a life of victory, dignity, and excellence. This is traceable to the quality — doctrinal soundness, the intelligence of preparation, and the mode of communication.
There are three major errors that can proceed from the teaching ministry:
- Falsehood or apostasy — A deviation from the truth, from the known precepts of God. 1 Timothy 4:1 — The Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith and give heed to seducing spirits and the doctrine of demons.
- Corruption of principles — The principles are correct, but the mode of communicating and applying them leads to corruption. For example: grace is a strong doctrinal truth, but it can be applied in a way that gives a license for licentiousness. Giving is an accurate principle, but it can be taught in a way that becomes manipulation. Honor is a profound spiritual principle, but if not taught within the frame of balance, it can produce slaves out of members. Deliverance is accurate, but if not taught properly from the lens of victory, it can enslave believers to be fighting demons perpetually with no victory in view.
- Imbalance — Where truths are exaggerated beyond their scope of relevance. The Bible says let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom — Colossians 3:16. Wisdom must be added to the word for it to profit. A minister can teach finances as though there is nothing else to learn about the faith, or consecration, or wisdom — and that lopsidedness leaves the congregation malnourished. The teaching ministry must capture the whole counsel of God.
The third reason for the decline is the consequent inefficiency in the quality of believers that rise from these teachings. When priesthood declines in moral excellence, and when we have poor quality sermons, it is like malnutrition. The products of these imbalanced, corrupted, or apostate teachings are believers who reflect fanaticism, imbalance, inaccurate understanding, a poor worldview, and generally a defeated Christian life.
A road map to restoring the relevance of the church involves:

- A threefold restoration within ministers — a restoration of character and moral excellence, a restoration of the broadness of knowledge (doctrinally and intellectually), and a restoration of spiritual power. A man of God speaks to people who cut across different professions and fields, so there must be a spread of knowledge. A doctor should listen and find life from what is said. A politician, a student, an illiterate, a professor — there should be a package for everybody.
- An upgrade in the quality of teachings from the pulpit — capturing doctrine, the principles of the kingdom, wisdom for living, and a word-compliant worldview. The goal is to produce wholesome apostolic believers, not just maintain church members.
- Training believers to not only comment and pray about matters of society, but to actively engage in everything that concerns state and nation. Until now, the average believer's only response to matters of state is to comment and pray. There needs to be a reorientation. Preaching is not the only way to serve God. Church ministry is not the only platform to serve the purposes of God. Kingdom advance requires preachers, economists, policy makers, politicians, judicial personalities, academicians — a combination aggregated from different fields of endeavor.
A Tragic Reality: The Church Has Cut Itself Off
One of the greatest mistakes of the church is cutting away from matters that are not directly church-related — cutting away from activities of state and nation. The average believer has been subliminally programmed into an understanding that once a matter is outside the scope of church walls, it is not their business. When matters of security, education, or governance arise, the average believer does not feel a responsibility. This error has an origin in church history.
When Emperor Nero persecuted believers, most were conscious of martyrdom and just surviving — nobody was thinking of the concept of an apostolic believer engaging society. Then during the reign of Emperor Constantine, liberty was finally given to believers to practice the Christian faith without persecution. But a division arose: some believers said "we are a consecrated people, we should have nothing to do with society." Another group said "we cannot sit here and die — we have to be relevant, we have to bring food to our wives and children."
The seeds of both expressions still exist in the body of Christ today. On one hand, believers who feel that Christianity at its finest is when you alienate yourself from anything society. On the other, those who press for everything society at the expense of their walk with God. The king-priest order brings a balance to this.
A Biblical Crash Course on Priesthood
The earliest manifestations of priesthood — sacrifice — are seen in Cain, Abel, and Noah, though they were not called priests. But the first personality in scripture to be specifically called a priest is Melchizedek, found in Genesis 14:18. The Hebrew word for priest is cohen (K-O-H-E-N).
The second person called a priest in the Bible is Potiphera — Genesis 41:45. He was the priest of On, and the father-in-law of Joseph. The third is Jethro — Exodus 2:16 — the priest of Midian, the father-in-law of Moses.
For the nation of Israel, the first priest was Aaron, the elder brother of Moses — Exodus 28:1. The first mention of the word priesthood (Hebrew: kehunah) is found in Exodus 29:9.
Exodus 40:15 — Their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout all generations.
Two Main Types of Priesthood
-
The Levitical (Aaronic) Priesthood — Established under the law of Moses. This priesthood operated by biological descent; not everyone could be a priest — it had to be Aaron and those of the tribe of Levi. Judah was responsible for producing kings; the Levites were responsible for producing priests. Their ministry was centred around the temple and tabernacle — handling animal sacrifices and interceding for the sins of Israel.
-
The Melchizedek Priesthood — What the Bible calls a royal priesthood. This priesthood predates the Levitical priesthood — in Genesis 14, Abraham had not yet started the business of children. The Melchizedek priesthood is the order to which Jesus belongs, because Jesus was not of the tribe of Levi. The Bible says He has been made a priest after the order of Melchizedek — Hebrews 5:6. Under the Levitical priesthood, only those of natural descent qualified. But in Christ, all believers are also priests after the order of Christ, who is after the order of Melchizedek.
The Three Functions of a Priest
- Mediation and Sacrifice — Priests were the mediators between man and God. Until Jesus came, there was no living way open directly for man to have direct access with God. Now, because of Christ, we can come boldly to the throne of grace — Hebrews 4:16. This was not a possibility before Christ. Jesus Himself has become our mediator. This is why when Saul (later David) — a man of the tribe of Judah — went to do priestly activities, the kingdom was taken from him. A king had no business with the matters of priesthood; a priest had no business with royalty. That separation is what makes the blessing of being called both kings and priests so profound.
- Intercession and Pronouncing Blessings — Found in Numbers 6. Aaron was given the instruction to bless the nation of Israel in this manner: "The Lord bless you..." It was not everybody who had the mandate of pronouncing the blessing — it was the priest.
- Teaching and Judgment — Priests were responsible for teaching the statutes of God and for judgment. They were not just intercessors — they were communicators who taught the people the ordinances of God.
The Melchizedek Order: King and Priest
Hebrews 7:1 — For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings...
This is the first time in scripture we see one person carrying these dual titles. He was king of a location — and priest of the most high. When the Bible calls him king, it ties him to geography. When it calls him priest, it ties him to relationship.
Your priesthood is not to a location. Your priesthood connects you to the deity that powers you. But your kingship is your dominion over a territory.
Because Jesus is after the order of Melchizedek, every believer must be a king over a space and a priest unto God. A king over the tech world and yet a priest unto God. A king over the business space and yet a priest unto God. The Melchizedek order demands that you must have a relationship and a sphere of dominion.
The Melchizedek priesthood is a merger of the consecration and functions of the priest with the authority and the dominion of the king. We are not priests or kings — we are kings and priests.
Even though it is called "king-priest," in the order of execution it is priest-king. The health of your priesthood is what empowers your dominion in society.
As a priest in the order of Melchizedek, your assignment is your consecration, your fellowship, your worship, your surrender unto God. Everything that has to do with the secret place — your consecration, your worship, your love for Jesus, your growing in the word, the health of your prayer life — all of these activities define the health of your priesthood. But it must never stop there.
Kingship for the believer talks about exercising dominion within the cosmos and establishing the will of God. It is not about looking for a palace or a crown. That is the order of dominion God has restored.
The king-priest order is an orientation that helps us see professionalism also as an act of worship. The same thing the worship team does when they raise songs is the same thing you do when you are excellent in the office. Excellence is also an act of worship. Professionalism is an act of worship. Integrity and dexterity of character is an act of worship.
Everything you do to represent Christ and to bring Him glory, to make Him known within a territory and to establish His value system — that is called worship. Your work is worship. Your intelligence is worship. Your invention is an act of worship.

Serving and loving God is not limited to preaching, to singing in church, to church attendance, or to being a church worker. As foundational as those are — excelling in your workplace is an act of worship. Turning your healthy prayer life into wisdom that blesses society is an act of worship. A generation is coming that will pray, and the value of their secret place will be seen not just in church, but in society.
Three Biblical Models of the King-Priest Dominion Strategy
Model 1: Joseph in Egypt
Joseph represents the first model of a man who demonstrated the king-priest strategy in experience. Even though he was not formally called a priest or a king, in terms of execution, he demonstrated the strategy.
There are three major reasons why men will hate you that Joseph's story illustrates:
- Because of your father's love — there is a way God can lavish love on you that if you're not careful, men will hate you.
- Because of your dreams.
- Because of your gift.
Joseph was sold into Egypt, prospered in Potiphar's house, was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, and went to prison — all for choosing righteousness. When trusting God creates fire for you, it tests the substance of your devotion.
The truth was buried for only three days. Don't be afraid in your place of work when those who lie are stronger than you. Trust the power of truth.
In prison, Joseph interpreted the dreams of the butler and baker. He pleaded with the butler to remember him — but the man forgot. Men are channels, not sources. God works through men, but help does not come from men. Blessings come from God through men to men.
When Pharaoh had a strange dream and none of his magicians, necromancers, or astrologers could interpret it, the butler remembered Joseph. Pharaoh sent for him. They shaved him and changed his garment before he stood before Pharaoh.
It was not priesthood that told him to shave. It was not priesthood that told him to dress well. These are the ordinances of the palace — this is where the king dimension prepares you. When you are before God, whether you are shaved or not is between you and God. But when you are about to manifest as king, your garment matters. What you wear matters.
You can have the anointing, but if you do not have the garment of the palace, they will drive you out. You can be a prayer warrior, but if you do not have the garment of excellence, you will not get the promotion even though you are a child of God.
On the strength of the health of his relationship with God, Joseph imported intelligence when he stood before the king. He said: "It's not about cows and plants. It's about years. You had the dream twice — meaning it is established, it cannot be stopped. You can only create a system of exemption."
Then he went further and said, "Let the king find a man discrete and wise" — a polite way of saying: I dare you to find a king-priest anywhere in Egypt.
He proposed a national economic solution — not a church solution, not a sermon. He was importing the wisdom of God to solve a national economic issue. He got everything in one day: position, a wife (the daughter of Potiphera, the priest of On), and authority over all of Egypt. Pharaoh said, "Only on the throne will I be higher than you."
Genesis 39 — 41
Seven years as the sole administrator of Egypt, he turned the tides. This is speaking of economic solutions at a macro level. There is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty can make men of understanding whose understanding will be relevant beyond church walls.
You don't have to be in government to be in power. Being in government is one thing. Being in power is an issue of relationship with God.
Model 2: Daniel
Daniel 6:1-3 — It pleased Darius to set over the kingdoms 120 princes. And over these, three presidents, of whom Daniel was the first. And this Daniel was preferred above all the presidents and princes because he had an excellent spirit, and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
Daniel proposed from the beginning that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat — Daniel 1:8. His priesthood and consecration remained intact. As a result, by the time we get to chapter six, he was first among all the leaders of the most powerful empire of his day.
Don't wait for tribal sentiments to keep bailing you out indefinitely. A day will come when you will be in the midst of people where you do not have a geographic advantage. The basis will not be religion. The basis will not be tribe. The basis will be excellence.
They tried to fight his priesthood because the attack was on his dominion and his relevance. The king loved him. They signed a policy to stop prayer for 30 days. Daniel was very faithful — he continued to pray. They threw him into the lion's den.
That night the king could not sleep. He went himself and called out: "Daniel, has your God been able to save you?" And Daniel answered: "Oh king, hail the king. I am alive — for the Lord sent His angel to protect me and to shut the mouth of the lion."
You can blackmail them, they will still come out. You can gossip about them, they will still come out. There is a grace upon you that makes you indestructible.
In chapter two, the king forgot his own dream and demanded that Daniel tell him the dream and also interpret it. Daniel said, "Allow me to go back." He gathered his brethren, they prayed, and that night the secret was revealed to Daniel. He blessed the God of heaven, went back to the king, and told him everything.
Jeremiah 20:10-11 — "But the Lord is with me as a mighty, terrible one. Therefore my persecutors shall stumble and shall not prevail. They shall be greatly ashamed for they will not prosper — their everlasting confusion."
- Father, arise like a mighty terrible one. Defend me before those who are stronger than me. Defend me before my superiors.
- God of heaven, arise. I am in this prison — it is not my making. Righteousness has brought me to prison. Integrity has brought me to prison. You are the God of all flesh, the vindicator of all those who fear you.
- For those where the accusation is true — God of mercy, arise for Your name's sake. May the blood speak over my life, over my career, over my integrity, over my destiny. Silence the accuser of the brethren. Satan, the Lord rebuke you.

Model 3: Esther
The first six chapters of Esther are one of the most instructive portions of scripture — one of the most non-fanatical books in the Bible in terms of religious expression, yet it conveys one of the deepest truths of the power of spirituality and the deliverance power of loving the Lord and walking in His fear.
King Ahasuerus reigned over 127 provinces from India to Ethiopia. His wife Vashi was summoned to appear before him and his guests, but she refused — she was doing her own thing and forgot that the reason she was queen was not because she had conquered any land. She was queen because she had married the king.
Never forget how you got to where you got. As the bride of Christ, you got to the position of royalty because of your connection to the king. Vashi created an empire for herself — and that cost her the crown.
The elders warned: if this is left unchecked, rebellion in the home front will become marketable. Don't pray for certain levels of influence till you work on your character, because there is a height you get to where everything you do becomes a law.
A young woman called Hadassah (Esther) — a village girl from Shushan — was encouraged by her uncle Mordecai to present herself before the king. Among all the women gathered, when it was Esther's turn, the Bible says she required nothing but what Hagai, the keeper of the king's women, appointed. She met the man who understood the desire of the king — and rather than standing on the strength of what she had, she said: "Sir, you know what the king wants. Whatever recommendation you give me, that is what I will do."
Esther 2:15-17 — The king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set a royal crown upon her head.
Meanwhile, Haman — close to the king — was plotting the annihilation of the Jews. The spirit of the antichrist, just like the spirit of Jezebel, does not execute itself immediately when it enters a system. It waits until it befriends those in power. Haman used divination to select the date they were going to strike the people of God.
Mordecai sent word to Esther: "God raised you for such a time as this." Esther 4:14. But Esther reminded him that going to the king without being summoned was death — even for the queen. So Esther set herself to fast and pray first. Even though she was queen, when it had to do with defending the program of God, she said: "I will not take a chance. It must start with my priesthood."
Kings fast. Kings pray. Arriving at the palace does not mean you stop the ordinances of priesthood — that is where you do it the more.
She walked to the king. As soon as she stood in the court, the king lifted his golden scepter and said, "Esther, come." With wisdom, she did not immediately name Haman. She said: "I have prepared a feast — I want to honor you." Wisdom for the cosmos. Modecai and Haman were both older than Esther and Haman's relationship with the king was established before Esther arrived. Even when they are wrong, manage with wisdom — because the king loved Haman deeply. A premature confrontation could have ended her assignment.
At the feast of wine, the king asked what her request was. The night before, the king could not sleep. He called for the book of records and discovered that Mordecai had saved his life and received no honor for it. Haman came in early, and thinking the king wanted to honor him, proposed the most lavish expression of honor. The king said: "Do it to Mordecai." Haman was then the one dragging the chariot through the streets.
Haman's wife told him: "If Mordecai is of the seed of the Jews before whom you have begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him. You shall surely fall before him."
At the feast of wine, Esther finally disclosed the plot. Haman was exposed, and the king ordered that he be hanged on the very gallows Haman had built to hang Mordecai.
But when Haman died, the system he had put in place was still there. Esther went back to the king: a policy had been signed to kill the people. "Can you bring another policy?" What replaces an evil policy is a godly policy.
The program of God will never suffer when there is an emergence of kings and an emergence of priests.
The Ultimate Model: Jesus Christ
The greatest model of the king-priest order is Jesus Himself. God exalted Jesus and He sat down at the right hand of the Father as King of kings — and the Bible makes the profound statement that He is also making intercession. Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25.
There is nothing that captures king-priest greater than that picture: seated as king, but also serving as priest — making intercession on the throne, with a crown on His head, with a scepter of royalty — and still interceding.
So when we sit on the throne, we make intercession. We pray, we fast, we cry, we roll before God, we learn His word. Then when His glory comes, it brings wisdom, grace, and power. Then when we get up, we wear the garment that befits the kingdom we are assigned to — and we go and begin to legislate on behalf of the kingdom.
If you pray alone and fast alone and fall under the anointing alone and you don't get up and provide solutions, you are compromising on that order. And this is what keeps the church irrelevant in state.
How to Function as a King-Priest: Nine Submissions
-
Your exploits in the marketplace will be a direct reflection of your secret place
2 Chronicles 26:5 — As long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. 3 John 1:2 — Even as your soul prospers. The stronger your secret place — your prayer altar, your word study, your consecration, your love for Jesus, your hunger and passion for God — the greater your exploits as a king.
-
Love the Lord and prioritize Him above all things
Matthew 22:37 — Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love Him more than money, titles, positions, politics, degrees. He must be the highest priority in your life.
-
View public office as a trust from God and an act of worship
Whether you are a politician, a captain of industry, a leader in any field — you must view any kind of societal service as a trust from God, not just because you earned the academic qualifications. Believers do not see positions and growth as an issue of merit alone. We see it as a trust from God and an act of worship.
-
Never leave any position of function worse than you met it
If you were a director in a corporation — by the time you are retiring, infrastructure should have improved, lives should have been bettered. You must view public service as a trust from God. To leave it worse than you met it is a betrayal of that trust.
-
Have the courage to stand for truth and to rise above corruption and decadence
Don't think everybody's corrupt. The way up is not through corruption. You can be different.
-
Contend for economic empowerment
Economic empowerment gives you the strength to resist many temptations and causes your voice to be heard. Ecclesiastes 9:14-16 — There was a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city, yet no man remembered that same poor man. Then said I, wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless, a poor man's wisdom is despised and his words are not heard. One of the blessings of economic empowerment is that it gives you the credence to stand for truth without fear. Wealth protects and defends integrity.
-
Invest in raising others, not just in personal exploits
A time comes in the trajectory of your life and destiny where your personal success no longer matters — every point to be proven has been proven. Your real blessing is in having the courage and security to raise others. The Herod syndrome — the insecurity that causes those with influence to suppress the rising generation — ought not to exist among the people of God.
-
Focus on living a good legacy after your time is done
Proverbs 22:1 — A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches. A great leader must be guided by three convictions:
- The fear of God
- Conscience
- Posterity
Focus on living a great legacy more than acquisitions. There are many people whose billions have evaporated — they focused on gathering, not on impacting.
-
Rise to your assignment as an enforcer of the will of God and a witness
John 1:6-7 — There was a man sent from God whose name was John. The same came for a witness — to bear witness of the light, that all men through the efficiency of that witness would believe. Whether you go into politics, business, ministry, parenting, entrepreneurship, medicine, agriculture, banking or finance — you came for a witness. Beyond any title or position, your real assignment is to be an enforcer of the will of God.
Five Ways to Enforce the Kingdom Across the Social Strata
- Warfare and intercession — Dislodging demonic spirits that are assigned to fight the program of God. This is the first way believers manifest the king-priest dimension of dominion in society.
- A display of character and moral excellence — A few believers manifesting character is not enough. We need believers who manifest character in mass to create the effect of kingdom come. Ephesians 2:14-16, Colossians 3-4.
- A display of wisdom, intelligence, resourcefulness, and productivity — It is good to pray, but translate the riches of your prayer life. Receive wisdom from your prayer altar and let it speak as you serve the purposes of God in society. We need witty inventions. We need productive believers, intelligent believers, wise believers, resourceful believers. Genesis 41:29-57.
- Rising to positions of influence and leadership across every sphere — Believers must, through productivity, excellence, relationships, and the grace of God, rise to positions of influence across every strata of human activity. Influence is a vital force in creating kingdom change. You cannot do much if you are not at the corridors of power. The mission is not over till you get to the palace.
There are some dreams God cannot give you until you are Pharaoh. God needed to change the narrative of the world because famine was coming. Although Jacob was there as Israel, consecrated — God bypassed him and went and gave the dream to Pharaoh. Jacob was a man of the covenant but he did not have the influence. So God went to the man who had the influence, and brought the man who had the covenant to interpret it for him.
Science and spirituality are not enemies. Art and spirituality are not enemies. Technology and spirituality are not enemies. These are expressions that spirituality wears to reveal itself on the earth.
- Giving — Capturing humanitarian activities, charity, and everything that reveals the love of Jesus. One of the ways you will know you are impactful is that Christians, Muslims, and even those with different convictions will say "thank God for you." The assignment is not to raise fanatical Christians going around announcing their affiliation — it is to show the superiority of your understanding. Feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Pay the school fees of one child. Become part of the solution that provides a superior alternative. We are not called to do everything, but you can do something.
The Assignment Summarized
Everybody, more so believers, must lock hand in glove to build their various nations. No single political entity has the monopoly of transforming a complicated state. It takes everyone — from the least to the greatest — and with the grace of God, transformation can be sponsored little by little.
The goal of coming to church is that you go back wiser, strengthened, more visionary. Never separate yourself from matters of state. The least you can do is to pray — and then to begin to contribute one person at a time. 1,000 is one, plus one, plus one, plus another one. If you remove one from 1,000, it no longer becomes 1,000.
Church and state is not like fire and water. Church and state is like light and salt. God is raising us to be relevant in church through the dexterity of priesthood, and then in the order of Melchizedek — to be kings indeed. A priest unto God and a king in Salem.
Father, I am available. Use me to establish Your influence and Your reign across my territory and my domain. Strengthen my secret place. Strengthen my priesthood. Empower me to function as the king that I am.
Bankers pray. Captains of industry pray. Politicians pray. Heads of government, directors, professionals, pray. Ambassadors, pray. Policy makers, pray. Men and women of God, pray.
Father, restore the fire on my altar. Let my prayer life be restored. Let my word study life be restored. Restore priesthood. Let me live by the ordinances of priesthood — robust in the spirit, devoted unto You.
But Father, graduate me from fanaticism to dominion. That I become not a fanatic but a passionate lover of God and nation — an active contributor whose relevance goes beyond church walls.
Father, restore the king-priest order of dominion. Men who love Jesus and are relevant to society. Men who are passionately in love with Jesus — consecrated, devoted, prayerful, spirit-filled. But productive, resourceful, influential, wealthy, blessed, nation builders, responsible — in Jesus name we pray.
Beginning from today, may you be a priest unto God. And the geography of your dominion — may God begin to define it for you. Like Melchizedek, we will say you are a king and mention your Salem — the geography of your witness. You are priest unto God and king over the tech space. King over the sport space. King over the academia. The grace is released upon you.
May God depend on you. May God count on you. May you be a priest unto God and may the geography of your dominion be defined. Mantles of wisdom, mantles of power, mantles of Joseph, mantles of Daniel — I see them resting upon you.
You are not being raised to only be mighty priests. The mysteries of the altar, how to pray, how to fan your gifts to flame, the mysteries of character, power, consecration — these you will know. But also the protocol of the palace. How to get there. How to be a power broker in destiny. How to sit on the round table and decide the destinies of nations.
This week will be a week of exploits. Your dominion will be shown evidently. Everything you lay your hands to do will prosper. No failure, no retrogression, no decline. It is progress upon progress, grace upon grace. Fresh grace for the week. Wisdom, favor, divine help — may your helpers find you and may you find them. Your going out is blessed. Your coming in is blessed. No weapon fashioned against you will prosper. Good things will find you this week. Nothing will be missing and nothing will be broken. Honor will never depart from your life. In Jesus name.
