Violent faith is required to take delivery of your healing, health, and wholeness package in Christ. A paralyzed man's friends tore open a roof to lower him to Jesus rather than wait for the crowd to clear. Mark 2:5 — "Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." Matthew 11:12 — "the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

Ephesians 4:11-13 — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are sent for the perfecting of faith, till believers come to the fullness of the stature of Christ. Common knowledge produces common results — seek to know more. The stronger the faith, the greater the command.

Miracles Are Not Accidents

Exodus 8:16-19 — Egypt's magicians, unable to replicate a plague, told Pharaoh, "this is the finger of God." Luke 11:20 — "if I with the finger of God cast out devils." Miracles are deliberate acts of God, provoked by the desperate faith of men.

Isaiah 25:6-8 — "in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make... a feast of fat things... he will swallow up death in victory... and wipe away tears from off all faces." Bartimaeus cried out despite being told to be quiet, and Jesus asked him directly, "what do you want?" His answer was specific: "I want my sight back."

Three Components of Faith

1. Faith in God as healer — Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord that healeth thee." God takes personal responsibility for restoring health.

2. Faith in his word — Luke 5:17, Jesus taught and healed through the same word; the word carries the power to heal when mixed with faith. Hebrews 4:2.

3. Faith in his prophet — 2 Chronicles 20:20, "believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper." Naaman was healed through Elisha though many other lepers in Israel were not.

What's in the Communion

Two components: the flesh and the blood. The nature of Christ is in the blood, and that nature is immune to sickness and disease.

- John 6:53-54 — "except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you... hath eternal life." Human life is upgraded to divine life.

- 1 Corinthians 11:26 — "ye do shew the Lord's death till he come." Partaking is meant to show, visibly, in the one who partakes.

- The blood is likened to white blood cells, the body's defense — as you partake, an all-out battle is declared against every unwelcome presence in the body.

Christ took your infirmities and bore your sicknesses. Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24 — "by whose stripes ye were healed."

As you partake of this communion, expect an end to every assault of sickness and disease on your life.

No matter who prays over you, it is your own faith that delivers your package. The anointing on another person is never a substitute for personal faith.

Salvation

Lord Jesus, save my soul. Forgive me all my sins. I believe you died for me. On the third day, you rose again to set me free from the kingdom of darkness. Today, I accept you as my Lord and my Saviour, and I believe my sins are now forgiven. I am justified by your blood. I am saved. I am born again. I am restored to the faith. I am now a child of God. Thank you, Jesus, for saving my soul.

Inspiring Quote

Sermon

"One symptom of backsliding is that you begin to look down on the simple things that keep you on fire, calling a devotional 'just milk.' It's not about the information, it's about the consistency."

- Apostle Emmanuel Iren
