I Must Get There

Life is a journey, and where you end is your destination. Early arrival gives you rest, but late arrival gives you stress. The journey of life is too far to track on your own — you need the hand of God to stay true, to catapult you.

Ezekiel 37:1 — "And the hand of the Lord was upon me and carried me in the spirit of the Lord and set me down in a valley full of dry bones."

1 Kings 18:46 — "And the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah." Prior to this, Elijah had told Ahab to go — the rain was coming. Ahab left. Elijah remained behind on his knees praying. But before Ahab could get to the city, Elijah — who was left behind — was already at the entrance of the city waiting for him.

When the hand of God is upon you, speed is inevitable. When the hand of God comes upon a man, overtaking is inescapable.

I pray for 1,000 persons: as your father mounts this podium tonight, the hand of God will come upon you. It doesn't matter who has gone ahead of you or overtaken you — you will overtake them.

Joseph's Journey to Destiny

Genesis 37 — Joseph was not the firstborn, nor the second, third, or fourth — but he was the only one who could envision the future, the only one who could dream. He was magnanimous enough to integrate his siblings in his dream. When he called a family meeting and shared the dream, the Bible says they began to envy him.

Genesis 37:18–20 — They conspired against him. They said, "Come, let's kill this man and let's see what becomes of his dream."

Isaiah 54:15 — "Surely they shall gather, but not by the Lord. Whoever gathers for your sake, they shall scatter." Whoever stands up against you in the name of Jesus — they shall scatter.

Four Categories of People on Your Way to Destiny

1. Destiny Objectors

   Those who say over their dead body will it become something. Genesis 37:8 — His brothers said, "Shalt thou indeed reign over us?" They made every effort to frustrate his life, to frustrate his destiny. But Lamentation 3:37 — "Who is he that saith a thing and it cometh to pass, when the Lord God Almighty commanded it not?" Anyone speaking evil mysteries just to frustrate you — may God frustrate them.

2. Destiny Observers

   Genesis 37:11 — "His brethren envied him, but his father observed him." There are people observing you patiently to fail, watching quietly to fall — so they can say, "I knew he would not make it." But anyone quietly waiting for you to fail — they will wait in vain. Job 5:12 — "He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise."

3. Destiny Afflictors

   Genesis 39:20 — "Joseph's master took him and put him in prison, just to afflict him." Without investigating the matter. There are people who are not sleeping while you sleep, whose duty and responsibility is to ensure you are afflicted. But Psalm 34:19–21 — "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones that none is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, and those that hate the righteous shall be desolate."

4. Destiny Elevators

   Genesis 41:40 — Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I am Pharaoh. Only on the throne will I be greater than you. You shall rule my people." This is a destiny elevator — a destiny helper. Those who give you speed, give you platform, ensure they wipe your tears.

   It is only a father that gives you feathers to fly further — so that when you get to the border, you won't be bothered. Destiny helpers may not give you a car, but they will give you connection that will birth cars and houses. They may not give you money, but they will give you a platform to make money.

   I pray: anywhere your helpers have been hiding, anywhere your helpers have turned their back at you — they will respond back to you. Your helpers will respond back to you.

Victory Over the Serpent

Revelation 20:1–2 — "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him."

Yet everything about Adam was going smoothly until the serpent came. Adam was doing things well until the serpent came.

There is someone under the sound of my voice — you were doing well, but the serpent came. When you started your business, you were doing well, but the serpent came. When you started your relationship, you were doing well, but the serpent came.

Luke 10:19 — "Behold, I have given you power over serpents."

• The serpent is a symbol of deception. When it came in Genesis 3:1, it came to deceive Eve.
• The serpent is a symbol of Egypt — the symbol of that which has enslaved you. When God wanted to deal with Pharaoh, God understood that the serpent was their symbol. God told Moses to cast his rod, and it became a serpent. Then the rod of Aaron swallowed every other serpent.
• The serpent is a symbol of bondage. Isaiah 27:1 — the leviathan, the serpent. Many are held in bondage by serpentine powers they cannot understand.
• The serpent swallows. He has swallowed up riches — and he shall vomit them. Whatever the serpent has swallowed concerning your life, your destiny — it will be vomited.
• The serpent bites and releases venom. There is a serpentine poison inside some bodies — you are weak in your prayer life, weak in your faith — and can't understand why. That serpentine poison shall be neutralized.

The serpent that you refuse to handle will become a dragon. That is why in Revelation, when the angel came, he laid hold on the dragon — and the scripture calls it "that old serpent" — the same serpent that deceived Eve, that brought down Adam.

All Grace for All Things

2 Corinthians 9:8 — "God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that you, having sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."

All grace is for all things. The reason for all grace is all things.

• When there is all grace, all things are possible — Mark 9:23, Mark 10:27. The first element of all grace is possibility. Anything that looked impossible in your life shall be possible.
• Genesis 24:1 — God blessed Abraham in all things. The second element is the blessing — which is more than money. The blessing is an element.
• 1 Samuel 3:17 — Things are not hidden from those under all grace. Anything hidden from you shall be revealed.
• Ecclesiastes 10:19 — Money answers all things. All grace for all things includes financial explosion in your life.
• Luke 14:17 — All things are ready. In the name of Jesus, everything in your life is ready. Nothing delays anymore.
• 1 Corinthians 3:21 — All things are yours. Every good thing is yours. Every great thing is yours. Lifting is yours. Opportunity is yours.

High Favor

Mary the mother of Jesus — before she was born, prophecy heralded her. Yet nothing could happen in her life until an element was triggered. The angel said, "Hail Mary, full of grace, thou art highly favoured."

High favor singled her out. No matter what prophecy a man carries, it is favor that singles him out. High favor picks a non-entity. High favor cannot be described, cannot be explained, but cannot be denied.

The birth of Jesus biologically does not make sense — but its existence cannot be denied. When high favor comes, people cannot deny the blessing, yet they cannot argue it. High favor is a barrier breaker, a boundary remover.
