How God Sees You
A woman with an issue of blood bled for 12 years. Mark 5:25-34. The Law of God — given from his own mouth to Moses — called her unclean. Yet the same God looked at her and called her daughter.
It doesn't matter what anyone else saw when they looked at this woman. They would have said: "Unclean. What are you doing here? You should not be here." But Jesus looked at her and said, "Daughter."
The day you will stop bleeding is the day you know he calls you daughter. The day you know he calls you son. For as long as you tie yourself to what others think about you, you will keep bleeding. The ones that liked you — how much money did they put in your pocket? But the one who created heaven and earth calls you his son. He calls you his daughter. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered the heart of man what the Lord has prepared for those that love him.
Faith Makes You Whole — Not Fear
He said to her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole." Your fear cannot make you whole. Your pity party cannot make you whole. The wound itself can never make you whole. Your faith in him has made you whole.
There are two parts to navigate as you move forward: doubt and faith, fear and faith. The path you have chosen has no visible bridge across the river — but because he has asked you to walk, you walk in trust.
Any feeling that is not rooted in God has the capacity to corrupt your spirit and corrupt your faith.
You Will Feel — But You Don't Have to Follow
Feeling is part of being human. If you no longer feel anything, you are no longer alive. God does not promise that you will stop feeling. But he does demand that you filter what you do with those feelings.
The Bible says she felt in her body that she was healed. What she felt was what God had done. You are not permitted to feel what God did not do.
When feelings come, the first question is: does this feeling align with what God has done in my life?
- You will feel it — but you will not act on it.
- You will feel it — but you will not send that message.
- You will feel it — but the devil will not have the last word.
Your feeling is your right. But following it is not your right.
The Bible says as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God — not as many as feel. Even if you are feeling anger, let the Spirit lead you to calmness. Even if you are feeling lost, let the Spirit lead you to purity.
Sicknesses have come because of the way you felt. Relationships have been destroyed because of the way you felt. You practically walked in to break covenants because of feelings. Your blessings were on the way — there was an angel walking toward you — but one moment of feeling, and the angel had to step back.
Faith Has What Feels Don't
A woman held Jesus and took the virtue. The disciples were there. None of them collected it. It doesn't matter who was there before you — with faith, you can take what others missed even when they were closer.
When virtue leaves Jesus, it goes to the one with faith, not the one with proximity.
I announce over you that you are not alone. You are not vulnerable. You are covered. God speaks over you. As you go out from here, the feelings that have been operating over your life — those feelings are dead. You will get back what the enemy stole. You will recover it all.
