Recap from parts one and two

• God has a goal for every believer: growth to maturity and full stature in Christ through sonship.
• The five-fold ministry, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, exists for the perfecting of the saints.
• The quality of believers in a territory reflects the quality of teaching and mentoring coming from the pulpit.
• Any gap in knowledge or training becomes a loophole satan capitalizes on.
• When decline happens, God restores through a formula of commendation and correction, as seen with the seven churches in Revelation 2 and Revelation 3.

How satan attacks a territory

1. He attacks priesthood, causing spiritual voices to compromise the ordinances of intimacy and consecration, or corrupting the purity of their message.
2. He attacks the church by sowing discord and division until it enters a spiritual autoimmune state, fighting itself.
3. He targets institutions, planting antichrist policies that subjugate believers.

Ten errors addressed in love

Ephesians 4:15 We are to speak the truth in love.

• Trivializing the ordinances of intimacy, the hunger, prayer life and study that preserve God's glory on a life.
• Mismanaging influence, the abuse of platform among spiritual leaders. The day of celebrity Christianity is over.
• Exalting prophetic and visionary experiences above the supremacy of the word of God. What is written is greater than what is seen or heard.

The kingdom operates by ordinances

Job 38:33 Dominion, territorial revival and transformation come from working in keeping with spiritual ordinances.

Three scriptures on restoration

II Chronicles 7:13-14 The healing of a land belongs to God's people, not to government or the wider community. Every decline is God calling out to His own people specifically.

Malachi 3:7 Applied as a direct call to America: return to the ordinances abandoned since the days of the fathers, with the promise that God would return in kind.

Haggai 2:3-5, 9 God has a covenant with America and will not leave it, regardless of the level of decline; He is raising a remnant, men of power, grace and fire.

Four keys to restoring the glory of God in a territory

1. Genuine repentance and brokenness

   Psalm 51:17 A heart that explains away compromise will never find the mercy of God. Mercy is always available, but not under every condition, it responds to genuine brokenness.

   Jonah 3:1-5 God sent Jonah back to Nineveh with a warning, and the city repented in sackcloth and fasting.

   1 John 1:8-9 If we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us. Repentance is the appropriation system that makes the finished work of the cross active in a life.

   Isaiah 6 Isaiah saw the Lord and cried that he was undone, a man of unclean lips, and a seraph touched his lips with a live coal to take away his iniquity.

   There are three levels of sin, personal, corporate and territorial. Spiritual leaders must intercede on behalf of the land, not only for their own sin.

2. The rise of prophetic intercessors and watchmen

   Ezekiel 22:30 Applied as a call for an army of intercessors to stand in the gap for America, until God is established as praise among the nations.

   Isaiah 62:6-7 Applied to America and the nations: watchmen positioned to stay vocal and give God no rest until He is praised in the earth.

   Acts 12:4-5 Peter was kept in prison, but prayer was made without ceasing by the church on his behalf.

   Luke 18:1 Men ought always to pray and not faint.

   1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

   Prayer must be systemic, intentional and consistent, not occasional. There are three ways to know the will of God so that prayer is effectual: scripture, the revelatory ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the prophetic.

3. The emergence of consecrated, refined and knowledgeable ministers

   Maturity in ministry is enhanced by age but is not a function of age.

   Job 32:8 There is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives understanding.

   A minister must be consecrated and also knowledgeable; one who is bankrupt of light raises people after his own kind. Love for Jesus must exceed love for fame, money or power.

   2 Timothy 2:15 Ministers must invest in knowledge and not be lazy in study; being consecrated without being knowledgeable leaves people under-fed.

4. The emergence of teaching priests

   Teaching priests reflect doctrinal accuracy, depth of spiritual understanding, broadness of thought, clarity in communication and balance.

   1 Corinthians 3:10 Paul called himself a wise master builder.

   Discipleship is the intentional, structured mentoring of believers so they progressively attain spiritual maturity and stature in experience, reflecting the life, values, victories and glory of God as seen in Christ. The teaching ministry must prioritize discipleship, not just church attendance, and must vet and edit the kind of sermons and spiritual content coming from the pulpit.

   Four areas a teaching ministry must cover

   1. Doctrine, the foundational truths of the Christian faith.
   2. The principles of the kingdom, the laws that produce victory for believers.
   3. Wisdom for living, the intelligence that helps believers live as sheep among wolves.
   4. A word compliant world view.

   Ephesians 3:14-19, Ephesians 4:7-13 An effective teaching ministry produces in believers the fullness of God, three dimensions that must be furnished in a believer before that believer can be called matured.

   Three dimensions of the fullness of God

   1. The nature and character of God, the fruit of the spirit.
   2. The wisdom of God as seen in Christ.
   3. The outworking of the power of God.

   Believers with character but not wisdom cannot build. Believers with wisdom but not character will compromise. Believers with power but no wisdom cannot preserve what they build.

   Psalm 66:3 The power dimension keeps the devil at bay and draws on heaven's resources for supernatural results; principles alone don't work when a demonic attack interrupts them.

A vision during the message

Isaiah 32:15 Until the spirit is poured out from on high and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field. In the moment, a wind of the Spirit moving, with power coming upon those God is calling.

Becoming an apostolic Christian

Believers must yield to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the word of God, and structured mentorship, so they are transformed from nominal Christians into apostolic Christians.

Four parameters of an apostolic Christian

1. Unconditional passion for God, that does not depend on whether things go well.
2. A high level of spiritual understanding and intelligence.
3. A clear vision of God's end time agenda, that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
4. A king priest mentality. Hebrews 7:1 Melchizedek was priest of the most high and king of Salem. Priesthood is unto God, but kingship requires a defined area of dominion.
