Five Cadres of Authority
There are five cadres of authority in the kingdom:
- Believer's (Sonship) Authority — for every born-again child of God who grows into the character of a son
- Priestly Authority — for believers who press further into God's presence and service
- Kingly Authority — for believers who manifest divine glory and reign in life
- Ministerial Authority — for those specifically called to the office of ministry
- Sovereign Authority — the realm of God Himself
Every believer should walk in at least the first three: the believer's authority, the priestly authority, and the kingly authority — because every believer is a son, a priest, and a king.

Salvation makes you a child of God. But sonship is a function of maturity. Romans 8:14 says, "As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Sunship is a product of transformation, yieldedness to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and submission to God's authority. 2 Corinthians 3:18 — "We all with unveiled face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit." Hebrews 12:6-8 says, "Whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. But if ye be without chastisement, then are ye bastards and not sons." The degree of your submission to God's authority is the degree of your manifestation of authority.
Scripture Confirms We Are Kings
1 Peter 2:9 — "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people." Revelation 1:6 — "Unto Him that washed us in His blood and has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father." Revelation 5:10 — "He has made us unto our God kings and priests, that we should reign on the earth." The emphasis of kingly authority is to reign — not just to rule, but to reign.
What Reigning Means
Rulership is the power to subdue and bring under government. Priests operate there. But reigning is the ability to showcase glory and excellence. It is operating in the glorified realm of life. There is a point in your life where your enemies may be present, but their presence is useless — you are bigger than the circumstance. You are manifesting traits of divinity, traits of majesty.
Romans 8:29-30 — "For whom He did foreknow, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son... Moreover, whom He predestinated, then He also called; whom He called, then He also justified; whom He justified, He also glorified." He did not say He will glorify — He glorified. Past tense. This is the kingly realm.
John 17:22 — Jesus said, "The glory which Thou gavest Me, I have given them, that they may be one, even as We are one." You cannot be one with God without that glory. The glory God shared with us is not equality — it is order. You are of the same class, the same order. You can stand for God. You can represent Him. That is what it means.
Why Kingly Authority Is Necessary: Sons of Belial

The lowest entities you will encounter in opposition are called sons of Belial — people who carry the DNA of Satan in wickedness, treachery, and manipulation. They exist in government, in business, in every sphere. There are five categories:
- Sons of deceit — as in 1 Kings 21: they can accuse without conscience, swear in God's name, destroy someone's livelihood, and walk away to drink the reward. Some people have lost their jobs not because of poor performance, but because a son of Belial lied against them without evidence.
- Sons of arrogance and foolishness — as in 1 Samuel 25:25, like Nabal: godless, dismissive of divine authority, reckless in how they conduct their affairs and harm those connected to them.
- Sons of rebellion — as in Judges 19:22: murderers, rapists, those who rebel against the law of God without restraint.
- Sons of lawlessness — like the sons of Eli in 1 Samuel 2:12: they despise sacred structures and subvert systems from within.
- Sons of devils — 1 Corinthians 6:15: their very essence is demonic. Some are vipers, some are tigers, some are demons clothed in human form. Even Satan has the capacity to transform himself into an angel of light and into a human form.
You need kingly authority so that when you show up, it is as good as God Himself sitting where you are sitting. Deuteronomy 2:24-25 — "Rise ye up, take up thy journey... I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite. Begin to contend with him and possess his land. I have put my dread upon thee, and they shall fear thee." This is not applying a principle — you carry something.
Five Operations of Kingly Authority
Territorial Governance
Kings rule over territory in the spirit. Wherever they go, they establish the government of God. This is not a metaphor — it is an actual spiritual jurisdiction that is enforced.
Administering Divine Justice and Judgment
Kings can exact God's judgment on behalf of the Father. Priestly authority subdues; kingly authority judges. When sonship and priestly operation are not sufficient, kingly authority steps in to adjudicate.
Power to Summon Nations
This is the kingly anointing that draws crowds and commands gatherings — not through publicity or marketing, but through spiritual anointing. When the king blows the trumpet, nations gather. Judges 6:34-35 — the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, he blew a trumpet, and Abiezer, Manasseh, Asher, Zebulun, and Naphtali — all gathered after him. When counted in Judges 7:3, 32,000 had come. This was not strategy; it was kingship at work.
Luke 1:80 — John was in the wilderness and the whole of Jerusalem and Judea came out to him. That is not strategy — that is kingly anointing. Some will summon crowds in stadiums that disrupt economy and governance until they establish a new spiritual order. Others will summon the high and the mighty — presidents, senators, captains of industry — and disciple them in the ways of the kingdom.
There are kings in this generation. The kingdom of God impacting every nation will not happen until kings rise. A time comes when you are in banking and you summon bankers; when you are a media person and you summon media figures; when you are in government and you legislate righteousness into a territory. That is kingly anointing.
Authority to Lead Others
Not to control or dominate, but to lead. John 21:15-17 — Jesus gave Peter the mandate to feed His lambs and shepherd His sheep. Luke 22:31-32 — "Simon, Satan desires to have you, but I have prayed for you. When thou art recovered, strengthen thy brethren." When the king is present, wolves cannot come. When the king departs, the authority to protect the flock is transferred through the mantle.
Authority to Preserve Divine Heritage
John 17:12 — "Father, all that You have given Me, none is lost except the son of perdition." Acts 20:29-32 — Paul said grievous wolves would come after he left. While he was present, they could not. Then he committed the people to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build them up and give them an inheritance. Kings can keep heritage. They preserve what God has built across generations.
We must grow as believers in sonship authority, in priestly authority, and in kingly authority. This is our ordination.
Father, give us the grace to be able to summon territories, to summon nations, and to summon our generation. For some, the way they summon their generation is by impartation — ordinary people who come around them, after ten or fifteen years, become captains of industries and voices of influence. Holy Spirit, on all who are reading this now — everyone whom You are preparing to step into the realm of wielding the kingly mantle, whether in ministry, in governance, in the economy, in whatever sector — under this teaching and this atmosphere, let that grace rest upon them. Facilitate the project, the program, the sequencing, the empowerment. Grace to stand as a king over a territory. Power to summon nations and territories. Let it rest upon you now.
