Apostle Johnson Suleman Preaching - Victory Against Conspiracy Lagos Outpouring Crusade 2026 Day 1 Morning
Sermon

lightbulb Message Summary - Key Nuggets

  • Every conspiracy against a believer's life is really an attack on God's integrity, not their own.
  • One weakness is never enough to invalidate a whole person.
  • Discernment, sharpened through disciplined prayer, exposes what looks random but isn't.
  • Revelation without corresponding action produces no real manifestation.

Two Things You Must Master

There are two components a believer must have mastery over: the manipulations of men, and the manifestations of spirits. This generation is remarkable in how casually it invalidates the reality of the spirit world, yet the new birth is often misunderstood. The spirit is regenerated and the mind is being renewed, but the body itself is not born again, which is why culture, tradition, and even ailments common to a region still have real pull on believers. Spiritual laziness should never hide behind the excuse that a person's inability to intercede somehow proves the spirit realm is not real.

Confession Is Good, Warfare Is Better

Approaching a matter with the mindset of someone who has genuinely been in prayer changes outcomes. Jesus met the accusers of the woman caught in adultery coming straight from a place of prayer, not from a place of casual, ordinary living. Confession alone is not enough. What could be called warfession is approaching a situation with the mentality of someone walking in the spirit, convinced that nothing is too hard for God.

One Weakness Does Not Invalidate You

The woman in John 8:3-11 was caught in adultery, a real sin, not something to excuse, but one weakness is too small to invalidate an entire person. Many people write off a spouse, a friend, or themselves over a single failure, when a husband who is too aggressive but provides, or a wife who sleeps too much but cooks well, is being judged by one flaw rather than seen as a whole person.

The devil specializes in showing an element of error to make someone feel disqualified, but it is God who justifies, and nobody can lay a charge against those God has already vindicated. Your past is your history, your present might be a mystery, but your future is your destiny.

The Woman Was Only a Decoy

The whole encounter was a setup. The accusers knew exactly when and where to catch her, and nobody commits adultery alone, yet only the woman was produced, meaning the man involved was working with them, and she had been used and discarded like an experiment.

The real target was never the woman. It was Jesus. If he said to let her go, they would accuse him of endorsing sin. If he said to stone her, they would accuse him of abandoning the redemption he came to bring. Any conspiracy against your life should be recognized for what it is, a challenge to the integrity of the one who made you, not a fight you have to win in your own strength. Scripture itself was being twisted by the accusers to justify what was really just an emotional agenda against another person.

Discernment Sharpened by Prayer

Jesus stayed quiet while the accusation was made, discerning rather than reacting, because a man genuinely receiving intelligence from heaven has little interest in what is merely being said on earth. The reason so many people respond only to what they hear on earth is that they are hearing nothing from heaven.

Constant, disciplined prayer, not a gift some have and others do not but a discipline every believer takes up, sharpens that discernment: sensitivity to which places, associations, or small details are safe, and which are not. There is a thin line between discernment and superstition, but small obediences, the kind that seem immaterial, are often the real definition of someone walking toward a great destiny, more than any single dramatic move of God.

Nothing Is Random

1 Kings 22:34 describes a man drawing his bow at a venture, seemingly at random, yet it struck the king of Israel exactly between the joints of his armor, because a word had already been spoken over that outcome earlier in the chapter. What looks random is often powered by words already spoken, thoughts already entertained, or actions already taken. Spirits take advantage of all three.

Corresponding Action

Revelation without corresponding action produces what could be called charismatic affliction. God can give a word, but there is no manifestation without a matching step taken in response. Moses had to actually turn aside to look at the burning bush before the Lord called to him from it. Every vision needs a corresponding motion. When instructed to move toward a new assignment, the necessary response was to withdraw from familiar platforms, in order to avoid conflict and make room for what God was building.

  • My spirit is open for divine intelligence, alignment, and discernment.
  • I receive divine intelligence in the name of Jesus.
  • The grace and anointing to be swift and prompt to obey rests upon me. I will not confer with flesh and blood, but will obey and walk with him.

Inspiring Quote

Sermon

"One symptom of backsliding is that you begin to look down on the simple things that keep you on fire, calling a devotional 'just milk.' It's not about the information, it's about the consistency."
