Break That Limit

Zechariah 4:7: Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain. And he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

I don't know the limits the enemy has placed on you. I don't know what embargo they have put on your path that you will not cross. But there is one thing I know and am very sure of: you can break that limit and soar higher if you are determined to, by the power of God. The kingdom you belong to is a kingdom of record breakers and not a kingdom of the stranded, limited, or the downtrodden. Christ paid the price for you to soar higher in life and glorify God. Whatever wants to limit you will be swallowed up by the power of God.

There are two ways to open a door: either by a key or a kick.

The First Step: Realize There Is a Limit

The first thing to breaking the limit is to first realize there is a limit stopping your advancement — that you ought to have gone further than where you are. You must realize that where you are, there are limits saying nobody from your family should go to school, nobody could become rich, nobody will marry right. These are limits. This awareness forces a holy anger in you to terminate that limit. It sets up the right spirit within you to seek to come out of such a situation.

It is lack of realization that prolongs one's stay in captivity. The knowledge of what one ought to be in Christ is very necessary to inspire one to want to break free from limitation. This is where the knowledge of the word of God, which is life, comes in. You may continue in any form of limitation if you do not know what God's word says of you. Galatians 4:1: the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all. John 8:32: you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

When you have the knowledge of who you are, then you progress with those scriptures and contend with that limitation in the place of prayer, crushing it with the fire and armor of the word of God. Jeremiah 23:29: the word of God is as a fire, a hammer that breaks the rocks into pieces.

Pray and Break Every Limit

Christianity Is a Life of Power

Christianity is not a religion. Every religion today has its promoter dead. But we don't serve one like that. Christianity is the only life where the worshipped lives in the worshipper. What is Christianity? A life of power.

Luke 24:49: Jesus said, tarry ye in Jerusalem. I send you the promise of the Father, but tarry ye in Jerusalem until you be endued with power. Acts 1:6-8: they asked him, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom of Israel? He replied: it is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in his power. But you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you and you shall be my witnesses.

A witness is one who is in possession of evidence. When you are admitted to the witness stand, you are saying, I was there. Without evidence, you are a rumor monger, not a witness. God is saying: you shall have evidence. Before you go out to speak of my power, you shall be a witness — this thing you are talking about must have happened to you. Elijah can talk about Jehovah Jireh because a raven had fed him. The woman with the issue of blood can talk about healing because she has been around doctors.

I Am Heavily Defended

John 18:4-11: Jesus, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth. He did not run from the battle. As you progress in the journey of life, you don't run from battles. Every greatness is tied to a battle. Anytime you see a mountain, there is a possibility behind it. Anytime you see an obstacle, there is a miracle tied to it. Mountains have acceleration attached to them. When Goliath drew close, David drew close.

James 1:2-4: count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptation, for the trying of your faith worketh patience. Let patience have a perfect work in you, that you may be entire, wanting nothing.

I am heavily defended. There is a God committed to my defense. I am untouchable.

Know That You Were Raised to Move Systems

John 5:1-15: At the pool of Bethesda lay a multitude of sick, blind, halt, and withered. Jesus said to the man with the 38-year infirmity, rise, take up thy bed, and walk. Jesus never just said you are made whole — he said rise, take up your bed and walk. He moves people to the ending immediately.

The bed is the system that had been carrying the man. Jesus said, not only are you rising — you are also going to be in charge of this system. Never be tied to the level of a system God has asked you to dominate. Because if you live according to the system, it will keep you at the same level. The reason some systems remain demonic is because men have not risen. When this man rose and moved his bed, the Pharisees confronted him. He replied: he that made me whole said take up thy bed and walk. I have a divine mandate. I am not doing this by myself.
