The Season of Territorial Command

The time has come where believers need to begin running witch doctors out of town, running soothsayers out of town, running diabolic personalities out of town, running false altars out of town. In the name of Jesus, those altars that are fake, those witch doctors, those soothsayers, those fortune tellers shall begin to lose their business — because the lions of God are rising.

Lions Are Predators, Never Prey

In Genesis 49:9, the Bible says: Judah is a lion's whelp. From the prey, my son, thou art gone up. He stooped down, he couched as a lion and as an old lion — who shall rouse him up? Lions are never victims. Lions are not the hunted. They are the hunters.

Never repeat again that a witch or wizard or devil is hunting your life. Lions are not the ones on the run from anything. They are the ones that everything is running from. They are not the ones being chased — they are the ones chasing. They are not the ones being threatened — they are the ones to threaten the devil and his forces of darkness.

You are not the one on the run. It is the devil that is on the run. You are not the one being terrorized — you are the one to terrorize the devil and his agents.

Occupy Till I Come

Luke 19:13 — He said: occupy till I come. When they say there is military occupation, it is a forceful, militant engagement. Jesus used that very word for us.

• Occupy till I come.
• Take charge till I come.
• Dominate till I come.
• Fill the ground till I come.
• Give no devil any space till I come.
• Give no force of darkness any space until I come.

You are not meant to just be there. You are meant to occupy. Overrun the land. Fill the ground. Take over the space.

We Are Not the Prey

When we went to Jalingo to preach the crusade, a close friend — a major evangelist — said: if I had known you were going there, I would have been the one to carry a gun to stop you. Security personnel sent a message that the level of tension in the nation made it unwise to go. But we went before God and God said go. So I told them: we are going. Not only are we going — we have already gone. The stadium was jammed. Power moved. Over 120 deaf ears opened among other healings. We went, and we returned.

We are not the ones to be pursued — except there is no God on the throne. If God is God, let Him be God. And if Baal is Baal, let him be Baal. But the God that answers by fire, let Him be God.

We are not the ones on the run from the devil. The devil is on the run from us.

Covenant People Don't Turn Their Backs

In Joshua 7:8, Joshua cried: O Lord, what shall I say when Israel turned their backs before their enemies? It is not meant to be. It is an abomination. Israel should not turn their backs before the enemy. Covenant people don't turn their backs.

In Ephesians 6:10-18, the full armor of God is described:

• Belt of truth around the waist.
• Breastplate of righteousness covering the chest.
• Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace — cover your feet with evangelism, with soul winning.
• Shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
• Helmet of salvation for the head.
• Sword of the Spirit — the word of God — the offensive weapon.

Notice what was described to cover the waist, the chest, the feet, the head, and what blocks arrows. What was given to cover the back? Nothing. Because you are not permitted to turn your back on the devil. There is nothing for your back because the devil is not permitted to see your back. You are the ones to see the back of the devil, to pursue the devil.

The armor has no provision for the back because retreat is not an option. The lion is the strongest among the beasts — it does not turn. Our destiny is the destiny of royalty, the destiny of authority, of rulership, of dominion. We are territorial commanders and territorial controllers. We are not the prey — we are the predators. We are not the ones on the run — we are the ones the enemy is running from.
