A Prophetic Sign for This Season
Psalm 74:9 — "We see not our signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long."
The first prophetic word given for this season is an interpretation of a significant sign God has made available. It reads: The passing of one of the most significant ministers of the gospel recently in Nigeria is a prophetic signpost of the end of the Pentecostal era of revival in Nigeria.
The Pentecostal revival was characterized by:
- The day of giants — great denominational leaders and powerful denominational ministries and groups of churches
- Sustained supernatural manifestations and great charismatic operations as part of its witness
- The faith and prosperity message as its major emphasis
- Mighty Christian conferences and gospel campaigns as its major expression
As powerful as the Pentecostal move was, it had too many weaknesses that Satan has taken advantage of at full scale:

- A complete omission of the message of righteousness and purity, giving room for a diabolical scale of immorality and corruption
- The exaltation of carnality and humanism
- A noticeable decline in the prayer efforts of the church, resulting in poor power ministry and a decline in the discernment of the body of Christ — creating allowance for false ministers and false ministries
- Exalting materialism as the soul of the New Testament gospel, making it easy for those with diabolical wealth to be recognized as ministers of Jesus
- The Pentecostal anointing was found to be grossly insufficient in solving national problems and raising national-level representation for national issues from members of the body of Christ
The Second Prophecy — A Change of Era
Matthew 11:12 — "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
The book of Matthew is suggestive of a change of era. In a change of era, God brings about a new emphasis, a new strategy, a new pattern.
This conference is the announcement of the birth of a new era in the body of Christ in Nigeria, which can be recognized as the prophetic and apostolic movement — in which Jesus Christ will be restored to the office of the Head of the church, so that through the church, Christ can begin to fulfill His prophetic agenda for nations.

Therefore there will be:
- A heightened intensity of the true move of the Spirit of God, and a strong recovery of the Puritan element as the foundation of the restoration of the land
- The rise of a new set of passionate leaders with strong loyalty to the Lord Jesus Christ
- The restoration of the true kingdom message that reveals Christ in every facet of human endeavor, for the restoration of integrity in both church leadership and national leadership
The rise of Alexi is a sign that it is possible to govern with integrity — that competence, development, and progress are possible in Nigeria.
The Third Prophecy — Demotions
Revelation 2:21–22 — "I gave her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds."
The Lord says there will be demotions. As He changes the texture and direction of the body, He will remove:
- Stumbling blocks
- Rocks of offense
- Images of jealousy

Demotions will affect ministries and ministers that have emphasized things that God is not emphasizing. Demotions will affect ministries that have failed to steward the influence God gave them towards achieving His goals. Demotions will affect ministries that have encouraged hero worship. Many shall suffer great setbacks because of wrong relationships, alliances, and partnerships.
In the body of Christ, there is going to be a reset — and the reset is already ongoing. It will gain momentum and intensity as the days go by.
The Fourth Prophecy — God's Sovereign Arm for the North
Isaiah 59:16 — "He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his arm brought salvation unto him, and his righteousness it sustained him."
The Lord says the cry of His people in northern Nigeria has reached His ears, and His arm will bring salvation. He will do something sovereign — something that will not follow the natural order and pattern and expectation of things. He says: "My arm will bring salvation. I will comfort My sons and My daughters in the north, and My hand will compensate them."
The Fifth Prophecy — A Judgment to Restore Fear
Acts 5:11 — "And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things."
There shall be a situation of untimely death that will be experienced among ministers of the gospel in Nigeria — likened unto the death of Ananias — a judgment designed to restore the fear of God in the church.
God has made up His mind to march forward. Nigeria will yet be recovered — but it will be recovered by God's hand, His sovereign power, His sovereign wisdom, going beyond everything in the current playbook.
A Charge to the Body
As you return to your various nations, do not go back to do business as usual. Hook up to an intercessory company. If there is none in your vicinity, create one. The texture of what God will be doing in the nations cannot be born but on the ground of intercession.
A new wave of prayer grace and a new wave of wisdom is going to come from the Holy Ghost. God has decided to show mercy and we are going to see Him at work one more time.
Let your conviction and your commitment about the need to rise and become an intercessor be strengthened. You are an agent of change. You are a savior through whom salvation will be extended to people in dark places.
Let the hand of God rest upon you continually. You are blessed, and the nations from whence you have come are also blessed. Every activity of the devil trying to sway those nations shall not stand and shall not come to pass. God bless you.
