Recap: The Foundations of Excellence

Excellence is a spirit from the top.

The foundation of excellence is understanding. An excellent person understands. Understanding ensures your results are consistent — in fact, when you understand, your results become predictable.

Excellence means predictability of results because there is understanding.

When you don't understand, life happens mistakenly; your results are hit and miss. But when there is understanding, your results are what? Consistent. Psalm 1:3 — whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Everything you do can prosper.

By wisdom kings reign. By wisdom kings issue decrees. Proverbs 24:3 — a house is built by wisdom. God has to resist you walking in wisdom before you can fail. Don't play with understanding. This world is running on understanding.

Don't fight only by power what Satan did by wisdom. Many people will die the death of their parents despite praying and fasting because they eat the same things their parents ate, live the same patterns their parents lived. You have no knowledge of your body, no knowledge of how you should eat or drink. Wisdom covers every area of life.

You Are Carrying Treasure

The bullion van does not make the money special — it is the money that makes the bullion van special. Nobody, no security man, follows an empty bullion van. It is the content that gives value to the container. There is nothing to this body — it is just a container. The treasure inside you is what makes you valuable.

Some of you know what it means to have capacity but not give yourself to that capacity because you have perfected managing. God is saying: you will not waste away. His best is reserved for you.

Declare, "God's best is reserved for me."

There is a programming of inferiority already inside some people. Some even feel inferior to others. But in the heart of God, you are his favourite. God is thinking of you every day. He has special plans for you. He crafted the word with you in mind. You are not an afterthought.

I'm not special because of where I am located. My location is special because I am in it. You get what I'm saying? If Joseph says, "I'm not interpreting your dream," the entire world dies. Just by what Egypt gave him, you can tell his value — he was prime minister value. His being in prison did not change his value. Your location does not change your value.

Awareness: The Key That Unlocks Destiny

The reason God led you, the reason he brought you — some of you were literally wired to hear what you are hearing. That reason will not be wasted.

Jesus sat over the mountain looking at Jerusalem and wept — because they did not know the day of their visitation. It is a burden to see late. To be around something for years before you catch what it carries.

Psalm 49:20 says man that is in honour and not aware is like the beast that perish. God has bestowed honour on us, but we must be what? Aware. Be aware of where we are in the things of the spirit. Where God has placed us in his agenda.

How much will Satan drop to buy you depends on how aware you are.

People who are going to fly high are conscious of who they are and their value before God. It is not money that makes you valuable. Be conscious of the treasure inside. Live like you know there is treasure.

That is what happened to Moses. Hebrews 11:24-26 — he put suffering with the children of God side by side with the pleasures of Egypt, and the suffering with God's choice people weighed more. That is awareness — to rather suffer with God's people than ride chariots all over Egypt like a donkey. When he chose right, God made him a god to Pharaoh. Those he had wanted to be part of came and bowed.

Stop selling yourself cheap.

On your road to greatness, many interesting things will happen — because you don't know yourself. You feel privileged to connect with people who should be feeling privileged to have your number on their phone. Your environment has shut you down and made you small.

A healthy esteem is not something you build after you become great. It starts now. Any esteem you have only when there is money in your pocket is not healthy. Luke 12:15 — a man's life does not consist in the abundance of things that he has. Your joy should have no temperature. It is constant.

Stop comparing yourself with people. Nobody's like you. Nobody in this world has your fingerprint — there has never been such a person and there never will be. That is enough to show you God has enough capacity to make you stand out among billions.

God wants to do something with your life. Find out why he made you. There is something about you that nobody has. Wake up and find out.

Increase in Value

The number one index that shows you are a wise person is that you focus on increasing capacity. Snapping pictures with people does not change your life. Going to sit where rich people sit does not make you rich. Be rich in your thoughts.

Be an extremely high value person. High value means you are always needed.

Money is supposed to be exchanged for value. I assure you: if you increase in value, finance will run after you. If you are not getting smarter every day, you are under attack.

Three signs you are under attack:

• You are scrolling on your phone at midnight looking for who is not looking for you.
• You see food and come under the power — you are shaking for food.
• Every day is passing and you are not getting smarter — you can't say there is something you know today that you didn't know yesterday.

Anything and anyone that is not helping you become smarter every day is the instrument of attack. If it is a friend, delete them. Let your progress displace certain persons from your life. Get busy with your life. Increase in value.

Pursue cheap popularity and all that manipulation — it is coming from a heart that is small.

Stop being at the mercy of persons of value. Where is your value? Why should somebody help you when you have nothing to offer this world? There has to be some kind of transaction. Money is supposed to go in the direction of value. Generate value and you will find people looking for where to pour money into.

Faithfulness with Assignment

Kairos is always opening up but many people are wasting kairos moments. The way this works is: as you are faithful with little, he keeps on adding more. The assignments I have received in the last two months — I know they were not my original assignment. But faithfulness in your assignment means addition to your assignment.

He will keep adding grace. You want to increase in grace? Be faithful with your current assignment. Matthew 25:21 — well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things.

Somebody else will have one assignment and is struggling with it. It is grace that makes assignment easy.

Receive grace to maximize your current season in the name of Jesus. You will not waste God's investment.

Your Garment: Put It On

Put on your garment. Your garment is your honour. Put on your garment of ordination.

That is what demons recognise. Princes of darkness recognise it. There is a garment in your spirit — demons can map your light from far. Psalm 103:20 — bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Enter relationships only after you are dressed. So many people enter relationships in rags. To bring what value to the person? Wear your garments first. Your garment will pursue some people from your life. When the right person sees you, they will know — they will not need to be told twice.

Put on your garment. Your garment is your honour. Put on your garment of ordination. What demons recognise, let them recognise it on you.

Financial Excellence: Practical Principles

The foundation of excellence in finances also comes from understanding.

When Egypt was going to be in trouble, seven years before the crisis, God by Joseph told Egypt the solution — have a reserve. Reserve was one over five — 20% of what you earn. That was the recommendation of the man filled with excellence. Genesis 41:34-36 — Joseph recommended that Pharaoh save one-fifth of the produce during seven years of abundance to prepare for seven years of famine. Reserve saved Egypt and saved the entire world.

Have a reserve. Have a reserve. Have a reserve.

Following instructions brings you to the frequency of the one instructing. When Jesus said to Peter, "Cast your net for a catch," it was not because Peter was skillful that he got a catch. It was because he was obeying an instruction. That is a technology in the spirit. Instructions given through a vessel carry weight — if you obey and there is loss, you can go back and remind God of what his servant said. That activates the angel of the house to commit to the instruction that was given.

Additionally:

• Sow your seeds. This is very important.
• Invest from the reserve — but only invest amounts that allow you to sleep. Psalm 127:2 — he giveth his beloved sleep. Whatever investment takes away your sleep is a risky one.
• Stop borrowing. Leave borrowing as much as possible from your life. Deuteronomy 28:12 — thou shalt lend unto many nations and thou shalt not borrow.
• Live below your means. There is nothing to prove to anybody. You don't need some phones, some shoes, some cars yet. At the level of your life, calling and the thing going through is what is important.

Somebody shared this principle of reserve: when he was earning 100,000 naira and practicing it, it worked. At the end he had reserve that was more than what he was even earning. There is a spiritual law here. When Satan tells you that you are broke, it lands on a mind that has nothing to resist with. But when you have reserve and Satan says you are broke, you begin from your reserve to meditate. You are not trying to say you are not broke — you actually are not.

You determine what broke is. You determine the baseline. That reserve gives your faith a platform to stand on.

As a church principle: save 50%, give 25% to the work of the house. The finances that remain — build from that. That is a narrow path, and it works. From the first year with a reserve of 2 million, God was faithful. Follow the principles.

When it comes to children, don't take them to schools that require prayer for school fees. Program the child for greatness. Put the word of God inside that child. Psalm 119:99 — I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies are my meditation. There is wisdom that comes from soaking in the scriptures.

The principles of financial excellence in summary:

1. Have a reserve
2. Sow your seeds
3. Invest from reserve — not the portion that will not let you sleep
4. Stop borrowing
5. Live below your means
6. Follow specific instructions God gives you

Let the honour of God rest on your life. Let it rest on your path. Let it rest on your ministries. Let it rest on your image. This world will see you in full strength. In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare: as you take your first steps to follow the instructions that have been given, may God prosper you. Let the angels assigned to this house mark all faces. Let your steps cause the ground to quake. Let your little be multiplied into a lot. Receive ideas, receive funding for the ideas, receive men who will come and support the ideas. The favour of God comes upon your life now in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
