To manifest is to bring forth that which has been hiding. To manifest is the authenticated language of the not-visible but available. To manifest is to bring the true expression of that which exists but has not been made visible. To manifest is to bring about the covenant and the promise of God to you and me.

When I studied Genesis 11, the question came to me: when was the first time man manifested the ability of the invisible God?

For 30 years I was made to religiously believe that God was quarrelsome with man. Until I had an insight: there is nothing you become that frightens God. Many of us are born alive and die without ambition. In a world of competition, learn to compete. Desirelessness is a destruction.

When I came to ministry, there was not one preacher in Nigeria who preached that it was the will of God to be blessed. All the pastors I met seemed to have no characteristics of God. I began to ask God: when America sends an ambassador to Romania, he behaves like an American. He doesn't become Romanian by poverty. He tells everyone, "I'm sent by the United States of America." Why then do the ambassadors of God behave like victims?

God told me: they know the church but they don't know Me, the owner of the church. No transformation can take place in any person's life, no matter how religious they are, unless they find Christ.

Genesis 11: The Tower Builders

Genesis 11:1 — The whole earth was of one language and one speech. Where there is unity, there is power.

Genesis 11:3-4 — They said one to another: "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly." And they said: "Come, let us build a city and a tower whose top may reach to heaven, and let us make a name for ourselves."

For everything you initiate, God will give you grace to inaugurate. One man among them must have been the initiator who said: "Come, let us go." They stood together in confidence and one of them said: "We can break the limit."

You can break the limit of your highest achievement. You can break the limits of what people thought impossible. The days of "I cannot do something new" must become extinct in your life.

Look for friends that are so ambitious that when you say to them, "God gave me a brand new message for 500 people," they don't ask whether God did it. Find those who celebrate what God has done for you. Don't connect with a person who, whatever you accomplish, only pulls you back in faith.

They built a city and a tower, and the Bible says: Genesis 11:5 — "The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the children of men had built."

God left His throne. He came down. God was not afraid of the tower. He was not afraid of the city. He was attracted. There will come a day when the grace of God will push you so far that God will say: "That is My son in whom I am well pleased."

I was telling people: those who fight only to make ends meet can never meet. The end of my foot and the end of my head — they don't meet. My front and my back — they meet. My ambition is not to make ends meet but to make my life meet the needs of people. For to be rich is to reach other people. Personal accumulation without reaching others is poverty in disguise.

Build us a city. Build us a tower. It is time to build beyond a single building. Let Christians become owners. Let the spirit of greatness rise in you. When God said go into the world, multiply, and subdue it — He knew there would be competition and contest. For He gave us the power to subdue what we were given power over.

When God told me in 1985: "From now, don't do what will die when you die — do what will not outlast you," I gathered our ministers and said: a hospital will be built; schools will be built. Today we have 94 schools with 43,000 students in Nigeria and the first Christian university in the continent of Africa. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children.

God Is Not Looking for Your Ability

Many are saying, "God cannot use me because I don't have ability." God is not looking for your abilities. He is looking for your availability. And once you avail yourself to Him, He will make Himself available to you.

Genesis 11:6 — "And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."

Nothing shall be restrained from them which they determined to do.

Nothing you determine to do — God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you ask or think. How much you want to be determines how much you shall be. No man can limit you from today. From now, nothing shall be restrained from you of anything you want to do for God.

Is there anybody believing God for a house? It is possible. Believing God for a wife? Possible. A husband? Possible. Money in the bank? Possible. To be richer than you are now? Possible.
