Testimonies Of Healing

Before the message, many stepped forward with fresh testimonies: legs and arms restored after years of paralysis (3 years, 4 years, 5 months, 10 years, 15 years), a solitary breast mass that disappeared on the spot, an inguinal scrotal hernia gone, and a man paralyzed from the waist down since a 2019 accident requiring spinal surgery, walked in unaided.

The Mercy Of God On The Life Of Abram

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endureth forever. Psalm 136:1-4

Abram was a candidate of God's mercy.

1. Mercy brought Abram out of a family with negative history and cycle

   Abram's father Terah started a journey to Canaan, but stopped short in Haran and died there without finishing. His brother Nahor lived without relevance. His other brother Haran, father of Lot, died before their own father, a premature death. A trinity of evil: living without relevance, starting without finishing, dying before time. Mercy picked Abram out of that background. Genesis 11

2. Mercy made Abram the progenitor of a God generation

   Mercy caused Abram to start what nobody in his line had started, to become a pacesetter, a history maker, a trendsetter.

3. Mercy made Abram the covenant partner and friend of God

   God called Abraham his friend and swore a covenant to him. It is mercy that lets a mortal relate with God in a way others cannot.

4. Mercy made Abram the symbol of the blessing

   Abraham was old and well advanced in age, and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. Genesis 24:1

   His servant said, "God has blessed my master in all things and given him flocks." Genesis 24:35

   He came with nothing and left contending with nations and kings.

Abraham was called out of an idolatrous, pagan household, and it was in leaving the customs of his history that he found that place with God.

Get Thee Out

The Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, thy kindred, and thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee. I will make of thee a great nation, and bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee, and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3

Rejecting Mercy Is What Damns

Many who end up in hell are not there merely for the specific sin they committed, but for rejecting the mercy that would have freed them from it.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
