Recap: Examples of Violent Faith
Hezekiah's violent reaction to the sentence of death through Isaiah is a powerful example. God told Isaiah to go and tell Hezekiah to set his house in order, for he would die. Hezekiah turned to the wall and cried out: Isaiah 38:1-5 — Is this the portion of those who are walking uprightly? Should he be cut off from the remainder of his years? God reversed the verdict and added 15 more years to his life.
Every death sentence passed on anyone here is reverted.
Bartimaeus the blind demonstrated never-give-up violent faith. Mark 10:46-52 — They told him to be quiet. He cried his throat out. Violent faith will always arrest attention. When Jesus said, bring him here, Bartimaeus received his sight. Most people are too passive and want things without contending for them.
Life is a battlefield. There is a contention over your inheritance. It takes violence of faith to take your portion. The woman with the issue of blood pressed through heavy security in spite of her weakness and succeeded in touching the hem of His garment. She was made whole. Mark 2:1-12 — The paralytic's friends tore the roof to get to Jesus. Jesus saw their faith and healed him. It takes some degree of violence of faith to take your portion in redemption.
Deuteronomy 2:24 — God said: Rise, take your journey. I have given you. Begin to possess it, and contend with them in battle. The sense of contention has been lost. It takes violent faith to win that war.
The Canaanite woman refused to stop. Matthew 15:20-28 — Have mercy, my son is oppressed. Jesus said He was not sent to the household of Israel. She responded: but even dogs eat the crumbs from the master's table. Jesus answered: woman, great is your faith. Violent faith won't let go.
The multitude pressed until they touched the hem of His garment and were made perfectly whole. Matthew 14:35-36 — If Bartimaeus had sat down in passivity, he would have remained blind until his death. He refused.

Three definitions:
- Faith is a living force drawn from the living word to produce living proofs.
Faith in the kingdom has its root in word encounter. It is not a belief system. It is not what you think should happen. Faith comes by hearing and understanding the word of God. That is the root of faith. If it is not contained in the word, it never flies. The woman with the issue of blood drew virtue from Jesus — by that touch she drew virtue from Him that eventually produced a living proof: the flow of blood stopped.
- Faith is putting God's word to work.
Believing what God says and doing it — that is what commits God to perform it. Luke 1:45 — Blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things told her from the Lord. Show me your faith by your obedience. James 2:26 — Faith without works is dead. At the wedding in Cana, Mary said: whatever He tells you to do, do it. They filled the water pots and the water turned to wine.
- Faith is taking responsibility in the light of scripture so as to have one's desire delivered.
God says this is what to do, and you choose to take that responsibility. You have committed God's integrity to deliver your desire. If healing must come, faith is a must. All healing testimonies in scripture and in real life are products of people's faith.
What Faith Can Do
- Faith quenches all the fiery darts of the devil. Ephesians 6:16 — Above all, taking the shield of faith, you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the devil. Faith is the answer to all satanic attacks. Faith grounded in the word is what no devil in hell can stand. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego — there was no smell of fire on them, not a hair singed, their clothes not burned, because they trusted in their God.
- Faith secures the fulfillment of prophecy. The Bible is the book of prophecy — more sure word of prophecy. It is spoken by the mouth of God: Isaiah 34:16 — My mouth has spoken it, my spirit has gathered them. But faith is the only way to secure the fulfillment of biblical prophecies. If there is no faith, God's prophecy as contained in scripture will not be fulfilled. No one can experience the fulfillment of prophecy without faith. Matthew 6:33 — Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. That word became the anchor of a destiny. Ephesians 2:6 — Raised up together and seated together with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers. No devil can stand in the way of one who operates in that consciousness.
- Faith is an ever-proof-producing force. Faith always produces proofs. Hebrews 11:2 — For by it the elders obtained a good report. Faith never lacks proofs to authenticate its presence.

How to Keep Faith Growing
Faith grows through prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting provokes an outbreak of light which stirs faith. The god of this world seeks to blind the eyes of men so that the light of the gospel of Christ does not shine onto them. But in a prayer and fasting platform, that blindfold is blasted, light breaks forth, and faith comes alive. Through prayer and fasting, there is an outbreak of light that will result in an outbreak of faith. When faith comes alive, your command is established — for it is by faith that we gain command of the affairs of life.
The word has different levels — water, milk, meat, wine, honey. Through prayer and fasting, you hit the wine of the word, which puts you spiritually in charge. Prayer and fasting is not merely a ritual for requests. It opens you up to light, and light stirs faith, and faith puts you supremely in command.
One must also keep hope alive to keep faith growing. Hope is the wife of faith — it is the meeting of the two that produces a child. Where hope does not exist, faith remains impotent, because faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hebrews 11:1 — When hope is dead, faith can no longer produce. Abraham against hope believed in hope, that he might be called the father of many nations. He staggered not at the promise through unbelief but was strong in faith. Romans 4:18-20
Ecclesiastes 9:4 — For him that is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 1 Peter 1:3 — We have been begotten to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. No redeemed soul will ever become hopeless because they have been begotten to a living hope. No matter what any doctor has said, faith coming along with hope will produce your healing.
The Holy Communion

Blessedness Of Generosity
by Apostle Michael Orokpo
The Holy Communion is one of the vital prescriptions of the great Physician. John 6:53 — If you will not eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you. Life is hidden in this mystery. The Communion is a life-emitting mystery.
All healing testimonies in scripture are products of faith, and every believer has a redemptive right to healing, health, and wholeness. Matthew 8:16-17 — He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. 1 Peter 2:24 — By whose stripes we were healed. Past tense.
The Holy Communion is a kingdom mystery ordained to secure healing, health, and wholeness for the redeemed.
John 6:48-58 — I am that bread of life. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat this bread, he shall live forever. Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life — the life of God, which is immune to sickness and disease. For my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed. No medication under heaven will compare in value with it. He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I in him. As the living Father sent me and I live by the Father, so he that eats me shall live by me. John 14:6 — Everything unlike Jesus in any one of us shall be swallowed up in victory.
What Is in the Bread?
- The bread is like Aaron's rod that swallowed up all the rods of the magicians. When Aaron put down his rod, it became a serpent and swallowed up all the rods of the magicians. Jesus is the rod that came from the stem of Jesse. What is taken in the Communion is a rod — and the mission of that rod is to go down into the system and swallow up all the enemy has planted there. Matthew 15:13 — Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted out.
- The bread is the miracle meal that neutralizes all forms of poison in the body. 2 Kings 4:39-41 — The sons of the prophet gathered poisonous herbs by mistake. Elisha cast meal into the pot. He said, turn it again. The poison was gone. Every poison planted in the body — through sleep, through food, whatever represents poison — shall be flushed out as you partake of this Communion.
- The bread is a New Testament manna that destroys all forms of weakness and feebleness. Psalm 105:37 — He brought them out with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Deuteronomy 8:3 — They were walking for 40 years, yet their legs were not swollen. Every weakness and feebleness is gone as you partake. And what is taken is superior to what they took — expect a superior experience.
Among the wonders in the Communion is an eye-opening miracle. Jesus blessed the bread and the cup, gave it to the disciples on the Emmaus road, and their eyes were opened. Every blindfolding activity of the devil that hinders sight of your inheritance in Christ is blasted as you partake.
What Is in the Blood?
The dominion nature of Christ — immune to sickness and disease — is in the blood. Leviticus 17:11 — The life of the flesh is in the blood. This is a kind of blood transfusion. As this blood is taken, the dominion nature of Christ begins to manifest. By the Communion, believers share the same blood group with Christ through redemption, which is renewed through the holy Communion, establishing dominion over sickness and disease.
The blood in the Communion can also be likened to the white blood corpuscles of the human body that defend against all assortments of sickness and disease. Jesus is the Lamb of God without stain — the whitest blood. As that blood is taken in, all forces of sickness and disease must flee.
Receiving the Communion by Faith
Father, we give thanks for the wonders waiting on the Communion table. Thank you for the power that has gone forth through the word.
This is the prescription of Jesus Himself. Let faith rise and take what belongs to you. It is your birthright by redemption to live a totally healthy life. No matter what any doctor has said, as you partake today by faith, your faith coming along with your hope will produce your healing freely.
Your healing is released. Your deliverance is released. Everything unlike Jesus is swallowed up in your life. No prophetic word will fall to the ground again in your life.
