There is someone bigger than two of you in charge of your life. His name is Jesus. In the world — and particularly in the continent of Africa — I am not an echo, I am a voice.

Hearing doesn't mean simply receiving sound. As a Bible teacher, what you are about to hear will be an improvement on the good you have already been hearing. Don't only pray to be good — improve on goodness. Life is not static. Life is a thing of daily improvement, not stagnancy. It is a flow of water. And Christ is the head of the church, and He says: "Because I live, you shall live also."

For hundreds of years our people were told: be satisfied at where you are. When God raised me up, I challenged that. A man who asks you to be happy that you are a slave is a killer. A man who tells you to be satisfied with a loaf of bread does not believe in tomorrow.

You must do your utmost best to fight whatever will push your mind backward. God is a God of improvement.

Don't let anyone preach to you that staying where you are is godliness. Christ says because He lives, you shall live also — and His life is a life of ever-increasing glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 — We are changed from glory to glory.

Personal Knowledge Over Borrowed Prophecy

I know you love those who tell you to send them money for a prayer hand. I know you love those who say, "If you don't give me twenty dollars we're finished." But there is nothing that will help you more than personal knowledge of what you are about to hear.

You may have heard good things before — but what you're about to hear will be an improvement on the good you have already received. That is how God works. He never repeats yesterday's level. What you asked for today, God has already changed yesterday — He has something better prepared.

Don't go by prophecy alone. Marriage comes by looking — looking at the life of the man or woman. Is this person godly? Truth will make you free. You don't need liars telling lies over your head.

God Is Always Ahead

God never comes to you where you are and leaves you there. He comes to you where you are in order to take you further. Every encounter with God is an upgrade. Every word He speaks carries improvement.

Sometimes you build your life in such a way that you know exactly where you are going — and God allows you to go ahead until He is ready to redirect. He doesn't disturb you ahead of time. But when His moment comes, He doesn't ask your permission.

He doesn't say: "Are you ready? I'm coming back tomorrow." He says: "Get up and follow Me." Before you say "excuse me" — move quickly.

Life is a flow. Stagnancy is not rest — it is decay. The believer who stands still when God is moving forward will find themselves left behind. Stay close to God, stay current with His voice, and stay willing to be upgraded.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God of improvement. We ask You to upgrade every area of our lives. Where we have prayed small prayers, expand our vision. Where we have settled, stir us again. Where we have stagnated, release the flow. In Jesus name.

What you asked for today, God has already changed yesterday. He has something better. Receive the upgrade. Receive the new word. God is ahead of your request.

Inspiring Quote

Sermon

"One symptom of backsliding is that you begin to look down on the simple things that keep you on fire, calling a devotional 'just milk.' It's not about the information, it's about the consistency."
