Acts 11:26

The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Anything we do in church that does not end us in heaven is a waste of life. What is the use of stepping out of a wheelchair on earth and ending up in eternal hellfire? What is the use of blind eyes opening if the owners still end up in hellfire at the end of their lives? The disciples in Antioch were called Christians because people observed their Christlike character, they knew who they were before and saw who they became afterward. The essence of Christianity is genuine transformation into the nature and character of Christ.
