Philippians 4:13 — I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
The Lunatic Boy
Matthew 17:14-16 — When they came to the multitude, a certain man came kneeling to Jesus and saying: "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and severely vexed. He often falls into the fire and into the water. And I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him."
Picture this scene. A father had carried his son — lunatic, severely vexed, convulsing in fire and water — to Jesus' disciples. And the disciples could not cure him. He came to Jesus himself, kneeling.
Jesus answered: "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him to Me."
For several years, many preachers have displayed the hand of God in demonstration. But if you were to ask privately what stage the ministry of Jesus is at on earth right now — the answer is: it is your turn. The time of begging preachers to pray for you is getting over. Everyone here today is qualified to do the work of the ministry.
I brought him to Your disciples — and they could not cure him. Jesus said: bring him to Me. And when Jesus rebuked the demon, it departed, and the child was cured from that very hour.
Matthew 17:20 — "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Luke 1:37 — For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 9:1 — All things are possible to him that believes.
Matthew 7 — Whatever you ask, you can receive.
It Is Your Turn
What type of person is Jesus asking to come? Look at the boy: lunatic, severely vexed, falling into fire and water — yet Jesus said: bring him to Me. Jesus doesn't turn away the most broken, the most extreme case.
The question is not whether Jesus can. The question is whether you will bring what is broken to Him — and whether you will believe that through you, He can do it.
Many of you have been saying, "God cannot use me because I don't have ability." God is not looking for your abilities. He is looking for your availability. Once you avail yourself to Him, He will make Himself available through you.
Faith does not come by handkerchiefs, by falling on the floor, or by attending the next conference. Romans 10:17 — Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
What you are hearing today, receive it. The stage has shifted. It is no longer only for the famous preacher. It is your turn to demonstrate the power of God in your home, in your business, in your family. Nothing shall be impossible to you — because you are linked to the God for whom nothing is impossible.
Nothing shall be impossible to you. The disciples failed, but Jesus did not. And Jesus now lives in you. What is brought to you — bring it to Him who lives within you. It is your turn.
Father, let every person here receive a fresh understanding of their authority in You. Let the spirit of impossibility leave. Let faith arise. Let Your power manifest through ordinary people. In Jesus name.
