A Call to Prayer

Prayer is a major component in manifesting Bible faith.

Mark 11:23–24

• Prayer

• Having (manifestation)

Prayer connects desire to manifestation.

Prayer and Affliction

James 5:13

“If any man is afflicted, let him pray.”

• Infirmity
• Constraints that hinder victory
• Anything that spies on liberty in Christ

James 5:16

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Not every prayer produces power.

Four Biblical Assignments of Prayer

1. For Growth and Transformation

   • Luke 9:29
   • Prayer changes the believer
   • Prayer transforms weakness into strength
   • Prayer produces spiritual evolution

2. To Make Requests and Obtain Promises

   • Philippians 4:6
   • Prayer is a platform for requests
   • Prayer is how promises are obtained
   • Requests must be made known
